How to Update a Password in Zoho Vault

Periodically updating your passwords helps maintain a high level of security. This not only helps keep company data safe but most importantly customer data safe.

Step 1

Log in to Zoho Vault. Select the secret or password saved in your Zoho Vault and click the Edit Password icon 

Step 2

When changing the password, log into the site you are changing the password for (in this example, Slack) copy, paste, and save the password on the target site

Select the Generate Password button then Generate Passphrase tab. Use the Word Count slider to 2 or more words and fill the Separator field with a special character (! @ # $, etc.). Once done, select the Use button then Update.

Done

Once the password is changed on the account you're trying to change, you are done. Every site has different password requirements and steps to change the password. You may need to adjust the password depending on the site's requirements.
