Givelify Canada Holiday Calendar
The IT team has generated iCalendar (ics) files for the Givelify Canadian Holidays for the 2024 calendar year. You may download and import the iCalendar
files and import them into Outlook. This will block out those dates in
your calendar to prevent other team members from accidentally scheduling
a meeting during those days. There are 6 calendar files that are
attached to this Knowledge Base (KB) article, one for Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern, Atlantic and Newfoundland time zones. We have used the statutory holidays recognized nationally and not specific provincial holidays which can be viewed here (we did not include National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as that holiday was reserved for federal employees only). Please see the following knowledge base (KB) articles on how to import the calendar file into Outlook.
Company Policy on holidays
Givelify allows our Team Members to observe holidays based on which country they reside in or their religious practices. If a Team Member lives outside of Canada or observes other religious or provincial specific holidays, Team Members are requested to communicate these preferences with their manager and team.
